A lesson on how decals are made with Hayden

Hello my name is Hayden an I am going to tell you how my papa makes the best Masonic decals. First papa gets on his computer and designs what he wants to make. I like computers but papa won't let me design anything yet.One of these days I will be doing the designs.

After he decides what design he wants to cut out he hooks the computer to the vinyl cutting machine. It has a little bitty blade that cuts the vinyl in the shape of the design. Don't ask me how it does it.

As you can see its just one big role of vinyl. It's really thin papa says it's only 2.5 to 3 mil. thick. I don't know how thick that is but I think it's really really thin.

After we run it through the cutter we have to take the vinyl we don't want away from the design. Papa calls this the peeling process.

The smaller the item the harder it is for papa to do the peeling process. Also its harder for the machine to cut. When the machine don't cut right I learn new words momma says I can't say.

The last step of the process papa puts a tape across the decal. When you get your decal you pull the tape away from the paper an somehow the decal comes off with the tape. Then you place it were you want it and it comes off the tape. Papa says it's magic.  Just remember what papa says about when you put your decals on.

"Made from a professional grade vinyl and will adhere to any non-porous surface. To apply make sure the surface is clean and dry."

Did you read the message from the ole porboy (it's really papa) ? If you did you know papa does a great job and is fair with the other Masons that buy his decals. So what are you waiting for order your Masonic decals today from a Brother not some catalouge.

I don't know why papa calls his customers Brother but he tells me someday I will know the secrets of a Master Mason.
